Grumpy Grandma’s is a family owned and run business located in the Byron Bay Hinterland. We grow olives and turn them into delicious olive and extra virgin olive oil products. Our specialties are our cured olives in brine, wood smoked olives and our totally moreish semi-dried olives. Three key varieties are used across our olive range; Kalamata, Manzanillo and Hardy Mammoth. Our extra virgin olive oil is a blend of early harvested Frantoio and Koroneiki olives. We’re trialling several new speciality varieties at our grove in Rosebank - watch this space! We simply love olives and are super proud of what we do, please enjoy!

Manzanillo, means small apple in Spanish, which is fitting for this fleshy, tasty and perfectly round olive variety.
These ‘could’ be our favourite type of olive here at Grumpy Grandma’s, with a subtle smoky flavour, preserved in our traditional salt brine, ready to be enjoyed!
